Deactivate a catalogue item

Remove an item from active selections while retaining its record.

How to use this function

1. Sign in with a role allowed to access materials catalogue.
2. Open Materials catalogue and choose Deactivate a catalogue item.
3. Review the customer and company site context where this function uses them.
4. Complete or review these controls: Item, Status.
5. Remove an item from active selections while retaining its record.
6. Save or confirm the action, then reopen the record to check its updated state and history.
